About WSD
Fire and electrical safety, delivered end-to-end since 2007. Directors on the tools, engineers on site, apprentices growing into the next generation.

Started in 2007. Still hands-on.
Stuart Dodson founded WSD as a fire and electrical safety contractor, the kind that does the survey, the design, the install AND the maintenance, rather than passing each step to someone else.
Two decades on, the team has grown but the model has not. The directors still quote their own jobs. The engineers who scope the work do the install. The apprentices learn from the people they will work alongside for years.
If I wouldn't put my own name on the install certificate, we don't take the job.
Stuart Dodson, FounderNo subcontracts. Just the team.
WSD does not subcontract because it cannot. The fire and electrical work we deliver, sprinklers, gas suppression, addressable alarms, is where corner-cutting becomes a life-safety risk.
So every job runs through the same hands from quote to certificate. Schools mid-term, hotels mid-summer, plant rooms at 4 a.m., whoever scoped it is on site.

Four things you can count on.
The four habits that turn a fire/electrical contractor into a fire/electrical partner.
Directors do the quoting
The person who priced the job is on site when it goes in. Single point of accountability from first email to certificate.
No subcontract crews
Every WSD job runs through WSD engineers. The same names from quote to handover.
Documented to the letter
Every system handed over with the cert pack, device schedule and diagrams. Nothing to chase later.
