Ley & Wheeler Warehouse & Distribution
New-build distribution warehouse, sprinkler control panel, switchgear, and L2 fire detection delivered against a 14-week fit-out programme.

A new build,
fully fitted from first fix.
Coming in at first fix on a new-build distribution centre meant the design had to be both detailed enough for the M&E contractor and flexible enough to absorb the inevitable layout changes during racking install.
We worked alongside the principal contractor from day one, cable containment co-ordinated with HVAC, sprinkler controls phased around the loading-bay sequencing, and detection commissioned ahead of practical completion to allow the racking inspection to happen on schedule.
Quick Overview
Sprinkler control panel
Single wet-pipe zone with integrated diesel pump house monitoring.
L2 fire detection
Addressable detection on escape routes and high-rack zones.
Distribution switchgear
Three-phase distribution boards with sub-metering on every loading bay.
Co-ordinated containment
Containment runs designed alongside HVAC and racking install to avoid clashes.

Fire Alarm System Installation, Design & Commissioning
Addressable and conventional fire alarm design, installation and certification.
WSD came in early, stayed on programme, and handed the site over with every test certificate already in the O&M.
